Let it Flow is a classical Reformer guided workout – set to dance, rock, and cool down tunes from an eclectic Spotify playlist – paired with an intimate group writing session. We’ll let loose and have fun. . .and then see what comes out on the page!
Let it Flow moves you along with the instructor and other awesome Pilates enthusiasts. Participants should be comfortable with minimal cueing and familiar with exercises such as Short Spine, the Stomach Massage series, Swan, Backstroke, Pull Straps, T, Teaser, the Short Box Series, the Long Stretch series, Chest Expansion, Thigh Stretch, forward-facing Rowing, the Knee Stretch series, and Splits.
We’ll move together for about 50 minutes, then use the rest of our time for generative writing and (optional) sharing. Writing prompts, wholesome snacks, and beautiful journals to take with you will all be provided. Come and see if you make new connections in your Pilates practice and in your writing!

Meet Your Workshop Instructor
Cathryn Douglass grew up in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
She has happy memories of attending music and dance events at Tanglewood and Jacob’s Pillow, and for as long as she lives will hold a special place in her heart for the collection at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, and the view from the top of Mount Greylock in Adams.
Cathryn is proud to be a graduate of The Pilates Center of Boulder, and enjoys that her years of teaching the classical work have now led her to this fun and experiential workshop set to music. Combining two of the loves of her life in one workshop!
